You had to know that the forces of moral indignation would conspire against you and yours. This mentality, in one form or another, has been around since the dawn of man. Kill the sons, or imprison them, to pay for the perceived sins of the fathers. Heirs to thrones and fortunes have met similar fates from the arrogant who wield power.

They want to shut you up, to keep you from saying what is true.

I feel for you son. I feel for your wife. I feel for you.

The world is a mess.
