Everyone else has already said it, but I also have to say that your bravery is amazing. It takes balls (figuratively speaking, in the parlance of our times :) to send a letter like that... You are an inspiration to us all. Your professionalism is commendable. I'm sure their reply will not be so "nice". Good luck with the play too!
