I agree with you, however we ALREADY have laws regarding rape and sexual assault. The added qualifier of "child rape" is not needed. Why not simply support the laws we have that protect ALL people of all ages instead of supporting laws based on nothing more than arbitrary factors like age?

And I would disagree with your guess about the percentage of rape vs. consentual relationships. I would say that most such relationships are consensual and are never discovered. I have no proof of this, but you have no proof of your claim either, so we're on equal footing there.
