When I was reading 28's post, I thought about the extremely negative message that a child in therapy receives regarding sex. That would be enough to mess anyone up sexually.

Yes. Markaba, the medical exam, going to court and being badgered by some strange adult in front of other strange adults about something so private and personal, and now shameful.

All this just to protect her from feeling pleasure and romantic love for the first time in her life, because she is labeled "minor".

I really don't know how those people can sleep at night. I know they have to know the truth, but somehow they are able to ignore it.
