i understand your point of view .. i do, and i see the reason behind it

but i see it as a matter of the law.. if they're doing something against the law i would have no problem enforcing the law .. if you dont like that, change the law ..

but i'm not willing to make a child in a situation like that subject to what *i* think is abusive or not ... i'm going to do what the law says is right in that situation ... i know that this position will gain me NO friends here, but it's what i belive..

and what you believe is equally valid
