::sigh:: I warned you not to use that bloody word again. Y'know, the "E" word? And I did anyways *sigh* It shows just how far your warnings go around here, Taffy. Okay, okay...I'll never again mention the word "Episcipal" around here, aight? When I say love, I MEAN love, when I say care, I MEAN care, when I say guide, I MEAN guide, when I say nurture, I MEAN nurture. But do you agree that parents should have the power, via their genetic relationship to their kids, to control them, and even force them to live with their parents if the youths are unhappy there? Straightforward question. You are at liberty to say what YOU think these words mean, but DO NOT TELL ME WHAT I SAY THEY MEAN. I judge your words by the context in which you use them, and not necessarily as you say you are using them, outside of that empirical context. It is dictatorial, arrogant, and just plain wrong. It's none of those things if my assessments are CORRECT, and I think they are, or I wouldn't be asserting them. And by the by, I think that forcing youths to kow tow to the whims of one or two adults who sired them is dictatorial, arrogant, and just plain wrong. I suggest a new posting rule should be added to the faq's: Anyone using the word "euphemism" in a post will be banned for 48 hours. Or how about this one: "Anyone actually using a euphemism in a post will be banned for 48 hours." That will often spare us your rants for large periods of time ;) Maybe that might weed out those morons who try and dictate what other people say. What you want to see weeded out are the "morons" (another euphemism!) who try to tell it like it is based upon the available evidence! (walks away laughing, shaking head in disbelief) Ah, so you finally read your own posts with an extremely open mind? ;) |
