That's a good point, Piz. If the nuclear family unit was so wonderful, why do parents like Taffy fear youth emancipation so much? Why do they think that in order for the nuclear family unit to remain intact, youths have to be legally forced to stay in it? This is very telling, isn't it? If Taffy is truly a good parent, then he need not fear youth emancipation.
