That happened to me too

After a couple months in prison i decided to try the insanity defense. I was insane at that point - because of prison; some people can tolerate prison (and very well too), i couldn't. I saw a psychiatrist who of course said that i was FULLY aware of what i did, and blablabla... He said that i was 100% sane.

Shortly after being released from prison, what happens? Ahah... i get committed to the worst mental hospital in my province, and stayed there for 13 months. No kidding.

(Ironically, the psychiatrist who said i was 100% sane in prison was now the director of the mental hospital i was committed in.)
