You are victim blaming.

No, I am not, because...

It isn't abuse.

I agree with you.

Get it?

If we lived in a culture that demonized soccer and any playing of soccer caused the child to grow up to be ashamed. It still wouldn't mean that any adult who played soccer with the child abused them. It would mean the culture is toxic and needs to change.

Agreed 100%.

...society will treat it the same.

This, here, was the only point I ever made.

Does that matter when judging the paedosexual?

I'm not judging anyone.

...if the initial action does not cause harm then it isn't right to say "it might as well be abuse"...

I don't think there was anything wrong with what I said, and I will stand by it. It might as well be abuse right now because nobody else will give a fuck if it was or wasn't.

I know it wasn't, you know it wasn't. The pedosexual in question knows it wasn't. But this isn't about his being able to sleep at night! This is purely about whether he Should, or Shouldn't. And we agree he Shouldn't, for the exact same reasons; and I have already stated quite clearly that I don't blame the pedosexual for society's imposition of harm; so what the fuck are we arguing about? Here's what's happening: you've taken what I said out of context, and now you're harping on me for my choice of words.

Let me make this perfectly clear for you: I do not blame the pedosexual for the sociogenic and iatrogenic harm done to a child he was sexual with. But I am not wrong - and Markaba was not wrong - in highlighting the responsibility of the pedo to avoid having sexual relationships with kids in a society that so viciously opposes them.
