In 1st grade, another girl teased her for the texture of her hair. So, every day for the next year, she wouldn't go to school unless her hair was pulled back in the tightest ponytail possible.

She's in 3rd grade now, and she's just starting to get the confidence back to let her hair out... and it's a glorious revelation! She's the cutest girl with wild curls in every direction.

I agree, there's nothing better than little brown girls with gigantic natural hair.
