You're one hundred percent right. I love these fantasies, but they dehumanize the girl. I'd do anything for them to be reality, but it's just now how people work. Have you ever read read Crime and Punishment? I sympathize with the character Luzhin who marries the protagonists sister because he wants to be her savior. He is a rich lawyer and she is a poor peasant, his main focus is having her gratitude rather than an actual loving relationship.

There is also an online author named Teglin who has a rescue story that I enjoy very much. There is nothing sexual in the story, so I hope I'm not breaking rule one by mentioning it.
