First a very close relative of mine died suddenly in a tragic accident on Saturday. It's a terrible thing and no little girl should lose her daddy and no father should have to bury his son. I've been outwardly fine but an emotional wreck on this inside. Nothing much else to say except that it fucking sucks. Then I get an email from my teacher saying I failed my final paper. How in the fuck I failed is a mystery to me. My APA formatting wasn't good enough she said. Fuck your bullshit formatting I write better than most of the class. How do I know? We peer reviewed each others papers. I was never good with proper formatting (MLA, APA, etc.) but I always have great content. By far mine was one of the most sensible in the class. One girl remarked on how she had no idea how she got a B, she did it the night before. However her APA was very good (her content less so). I fucking hate professors who are sticklers for formatting, especially rules that change every so often and such minor changes that make little fucking sense. Meanwhile I gave the same paper to another teacher and received a B+ and she said I did very well and clearly did a lot of work on it. I'm half a second away from absolutely exploding on the teacher who failed me. However I still may pass the class with a C, I don't want to waste money retaking the course.
