When you think about it, it is not surprising. A certain percentage of the population is very sharp, a certain percentage are exclusive or near-exclusive pedophiles, intelligent people tend to be curious - where else are genius pedophiles to go?

It is one of the few places where people from wildly diverse backgrounds, specialties and points of view can gather together, united by only a single attribute and not hobbled by social norms and expectations.
