If all or most of us are totally faceless individuals, then it's easy for the media and the rest of society to paint us any way they please.

My sentiments exactly. People can say whatever they like from behind an anonymous nick without incurring consequences for themselves, and they therefore feel no need to moderate their views in order to work towards advancing the MAP cause as one would do in real life to be an effective activist. In the end, that means the "activists" here are little more than paper tigers. If you don't have enough of the courage of your convictions to speak out publicly, then why should expect society to accommodate you? Who can trust your sincerity?

Indeed, as I am sure Dante is well aware, the cumulative effect of a mass of anonymous pedophiles screaming about giving children rights not just have sex with adults but essentially all majority rights immediately after birth is likely to entrench society even more in their antipathy towards us.

But of course, I maintain that Dante has no real interest in advancing the cause of MAPs even a little bit. Dissident, I may not agree with you on the contact issue, but I have never doubted your sincerity in furthering the cause of MAPs in general. I cannot say that of Dante, and I suspect his real goal is simply to further the Cult of Dante that has sprung up here.

And, I also believe that Dante's insecurity about public activism stems from his realization that he is actually the ideal candidate for being the public face of your movement. He's smart, articulate, charming, and seems to be a natural leader. He's also single and has no offspring, and he has little contact with kids outside of the occasional young customer at his store. His risks are low in light of what he could actually accomplish. Your movement is going nowhere. Meanwhile, the virpeds are getting things done. I myself am about to be interviewed for a major publication. Other virpeds have been interviewed in their respective nations, and VirPed itself has gotten some major media attention, including from the New York Times. You may not like what we have to say, but at least we are out there doing the work that needs to be done. Other than yourself, who here has accomplished anything that significant?

I would also like to point out that, despite what Dante says, I have NEVER claimed that that all pedo activists MUST be out, as Dante put it. But somebody needs to be the public face of the movement, and if you guys aren't willing to do it, then don't complain when those of us who disagree with you are willing to do what you're not.
