Not every society agrees with the "high-stakes" assessment which emanates from the pathologies of a bronze-age desert death-cult. Most everyone agrees that the one with the highest stake is the woman. And yet, explorers were taken aback by the custom of wife-exchange among the Eskimo and Aleut. Treating sex as "hospitality" would be deemed as "taking it lightly" by the pathologies of the West.
