People have this notion of what every childhood should be like. It always revolves around ignorance and a kind of stupidity. They will think it insanely "adorable" or "innocent". Typically a child just trying to relieve themselves of ignorance but being forcefully kept there. It makes me upset to see children of seven, eight, nine, ten trying to logically rationalize Santa Claus. All other adults laugh and look down on the child. I feel the child's frustration. Don't even mention sex, when kids are upset by their attractions, urges, or horniness often because of a lack of understanding and inability to discuss it with anyone because of how ridiculous most adults act about it. Let alone their forced inability to express it.

You have to note that most people did not even have the childhood they are demanding all children have. It is a mentality they formed in our silly society. Kids and adults are supposed to be separate. Adults, don't do kid things, kids, don't do adult things. Of course some overlap is tolerated. However do too much of it and people start getting mad, or possibly do something kids and adults should never mix, the sexual, and they will bring the full force of the law on you.

As for makeup people associate it with attracting men. Which they think little girls should never ever try to do. Whether or not that is what the girl is even thinking.

The sad thing is, unless there is a rational adult to explain things around the child will absorb these unhealthy messages. Then grow up to think similarly.
