There has only ever been a single dream I have had more than once, and it was a very long time ago, when I was very young. It was a scary dream, though. I don't have nightmares now.

These days, I sometimes have recurring places in dreams. There is one particular house that I've seen in at least three dreams. It always has a different purpose. One time it was just someone's house. One time it was a church. One time it was a meeting place for people fighting against some dark evil in a very fantasy-themed dream. Every time I dream about it, I am in a different part of the house. Come to think of it, one part of the house looks just like the house My Little Girl used to live in. That house would have been very buried in my subconscious at that time. Still, it's interesting that there was always some element of childhood in that house when it showed up. A kid's bedroom, a room befitting a daycare... I wonder if there is some kind of subconscious connection? Either way, that house has appeared in several dreams, but I don't know the house. I'm not sure I've ever seen the outside of the house in any dream, yet I know the entire design of the house.

I also sometimes have recurring elements in dreams. The dream will be very different, but it will have some point of connection to another dream, almost as if it is a continuation. Those are less common in recent days. The memory of my dreams rarely even occurs. I do so wish I could have that one dream of that little girl again, though. :) Very cute blonde girl who was all over me. I wish that dream never came to an end. I suppose being awake leaves the opportunity for reality to triumph over dream.
