Well, as both a racial and sexual minority, I can tell you that my external struggles have been more about race/racism while my internal struggles have been more about sexuality. No one knows I'm a sexual minority unless I tell them, but everyone knows that I'm a racial minority just by looking at me. I can tell you that being a sexual minority is much harder because prejudice against my sexual orientation is much more widespread and socially acceptable and I have no recourse there. I can be persecuted and prosecuted basically for my basic sexuality and if I've ever looked at images that they deem to be illegal, even if I had zero involvement in their production or distribution. Of course, being a sexual minority is easier if you're gay/bisexual, but even many gay racial minorities will say it's easier to be a racial minority than gay (although a lot of progress is being made on the gay front).
