You need to be more careful about treating children with respect, playing with them, and making them happy. Do that too much, and other adults will notice and start whispering about you behind your back and then without knowing why, you'll find yourself uninvited and unwelcome for no apparent reason. If some kid you treat with respect and play with and entertain enough, out of the joy of being with you, ever makes the mistake of saying "I love you" to you in front of their parents, you'll never see that kid's face or hear their voice again. Their parents will make damned sure of that. Then you'll really understand what it's like for us.
