It sounds like a perfectly normal thing to want, a normal life with normal friendships and experiences like anyone else.

I think that's all most of us want and really, why not? I mean it isn't illegal to have friends, it isn't illegal to just hang out and do normal things.

So why don't we? Well because there's a bunch of people who are so paranoid and have such warped views of the world that they feel its perfectly normal to victimise people just because of what they think. They'll even go as far as identifying people and trying to publically humiliate them, threaten them and destroy their lives just because they don't like what they think. And how does the press respond? How does the law respond? The press acts like a pack of hounds and encourages the behaviour with their fear mongering stories while the law just largely turns a blind eye.

The world is full of victimised pedophiles so despite not doing anything illegal we have to hide away as if we were.

I'd love to have friends who were pedophiles, friends I could be open to and just do normal every day things with whether it's having a beer, a BBQ or going to the cinema or restaurant.

I wouldn't want a friend just because he's a pedophile but I would like to have friends regardless of sexuality including pedophiles, people I like and get on with without prejudice.
