What I find so intriguing in the request was that her request was not "will you spend the night with us," including her brother or her family, rather, it was if I would spend the night with her.

At her short age, she doesn't understand pronouns. They're all the same to her. She doesn't even know that "me" and "us" are different words. She will only understand pronouns when she turns 18.




Don't wait for her to ask you; and don't you ask her. Just create physical inevitabilities.
