When does No mean No?

Despite my separatist pedigree, I will admit the greatest shortcoming of the referendum method: Yes does mean Yes, but No only means Not Yet, rather than No.

As a pedo, No means No. But I have to live with an exogenos opinion that Yes doesn't mean Yes either.

When is Scotland, or Crimea, or South Sudan, or Québec, a little girl whose Yes doesn't mean Yes? When is she a little girl whose No had no choice?

My first LGF's No was mine more than hers.

But did her referendum have a real choice?

Would her Provisional IRA, her ETA, her Tamil Tigers, ever beat her central government even with my foreign aid? Of course not, not in the long term.

Did we choose a No? Or did we cross a No because we knew Yes votes didn't count?

Do we need a Russian base in our house to choose Yes?

I choose Yes. For a country. And for a girl. Which are really the same thing.
