As someone who is slightly from the more brown-skinned side of WWII's "maybe blonde, maybe japanese" continuum, and raised bilingual, I'm... pretty well equipped to differentiate between 'Otina and Wahokan. Which most people don't.

The former is much more closely related to the origin of the "german" phrase "macht spaB," which is a far better translation of the japanese "paka tesu i'o" than most attempts at the english translation. The latter? Tile'e'i'a ma'emo na i'aki wahoka. Tanaka na i'aka'i wahokan.

I'm... also pretty good at determining when most "german" media is run from overseas. It ends up looking like the non-english "dialogue" from dances-with-wolves which does not involve Costner making declarations about himself - great movie, btw.

So... no, there's no need to worry. Not only was I suggesting that Rome's own "northern crusade" bringing it down was a good thing, but... I'm pretty capable of not blaming things on traditional queer activists. :) i'oze i'akuza, ne?
