Wake up, drink coffee, go to work, and do something that allows you to do the exact same thing five or six days a week.

If you had a wayback machine, you'd find most of the Scots - His Majesty included - doing in 1350 that similar routine, except with a few minor tweaks in human civilization - iPods don't count, BTW.

The Jews? Same thing - wake up, do a job so as not to get roasted, go to sleep until 'Merica or somebody busts them out - which was in just a few years. Guess what they did after the war ended?

Proof or GTFO? Again, look at apartments from 2000 years ago and compare them to the cul-de-sacs today. No real big shrug.

Same thing with us. We don't want to wind up sleeping in a tent in the middle of winter next to a garbage landfill, therefore we don't make waves unless they're heavily thought out first, and done with a trailer load of planning and guts.

Above all, independence starts with the self. Always. What comes afterward in dependent on the person's compliance or defiance. Just because you're in the joint doesn't mean the freedom isn't there.

Just ask this guy.
