I love Autumn, too. I hate oppressive summer blistering foul days where heat stroke takes lives. I love cool weather. Hopefully I can get some cool weather sailing in this weekend!

Last weekend, I had the most wonderful weekend sail and was out about 2 miles when I heard this seagull call. But, then, it sounded strange. Moments later, I heard it again, but a bit different. Still strange, too.

Soon I laughed at myself, "Gimwinkle, you are hearing and responding to little girls' voices screaming in fun at a lake-shore park." True, I am a certified Little Girl lover and hearing those sounds out at sea and noticing them so quickly just has to be one of the "indicators" of my life-style. So, what did I do? I sailed up close to shore, turned on the depth sounder so I wouldn't run aground, and looked carefully for the creatures cavorting in such glee on the shore. Out comes the binoculars and what did I see? Them taking pictures of me!!! I wanted to get out and swim ashore for some fun and games with them.

Alas, I had to head back to sea or else I would have jumped ship!
