Much of life is a morally grey area. It's just that people place much more weight behind demonizing and punishing our particular "greyness". Therefore, we could use much more "white" to compensate for their completely "black" view of such things. So that should be our calling in life, getting the message out that things aren't as black & white as people are being lead to believe. I think increasingly more people are getting the message to a certain extent. Like a pedophile can be a good person as long as he is celibate and that abstention is a distinct possibility. It's much more limited than the current societal view of homosexuals, but still perhaps more accepting than the previous view that pedophiles were bad people period and are ticking time bombs.
