Basically, a child/adolescent's consent is not considered valid to begin with and it can be retracted by the minor at any time, whether they're still a minor or are now an adult. And increasingly there is no statute of limitation for such claims to turn into criminal cases. I remember reading a case where a woman had a romantic/sexual relationship as a youngster with a man and came to regret it, so she went to the police. They set up a sting operation where she called him while they were recording and got him to talk about their relationship, which served as a legal "confession" and lead to a conviction.

In another case, there was a Catholic bishop who made some public statements about gay marriage. A gay man who had a consensual sexual relationship with the bishop as an adolescent didn't like the comments, so he went to the police in order to exact revenge. This is our world, and the crazy thing is that there are feminists/progressives right now who want to create retractable consent for consensual adult sex between men and women (California just passed a law regarding this). Maybe when there's a backlash and a men's rights movement, we can be a part of this too. I've already seen some signs of men's rights people being friendly towards us, or at least highly skeptical against women's/girls' claims of "abuse".
