It comes as an unsourced non sequitur in this article.

If you try searching by keywords you find that she tweeted a prayer to the Sandy Hook victims. The belief that there are victims is incompatible with the "truther" notion that it was a fake and all the kids are alive.

If OTOH you turn from the concept to the quote, it only shows up as it was presented in the article, and only in the UK. There appears to be no original context in which the occasion for the quote is ever referred to.

Its even odder considering that she also appeared in Stephen Soderbergh's play In The Library based on the Columbine shooting. If she really thought that the anti-gun crowd are parasitic on such tragedies to promote an agenda she would likely avoid being the star of a stage play that will only resurrect a school massacre which is presently out of the news.

Considering that the trail of this quote leads only to the Standard and not to Chloe, I'm doubtful that its hers.

But on the other hand, UK tabloid journalistic integrity is beyond reproach, right?
