The main beef with B4UACT has been the name; with its connotations of the "ticking time bomb" slur against Pedos. This may well be a sop designed to make the group sound better to Nons who've been groomed by the Antis. ( Or it may be exactly as the explanation on the site describes. )

But actions speak much louder that the name. The work they've done on the behalf of our community is invaluable; and it may very well end up being the key towards getting attitudes shifted.

In the meanwhile, the main focus is on mental health without any of the stigmas which presume that Pedophilia is itself a mental illness. ( See the APA's ego-dystonic sexual orientation AND the APA's positions on sexual orientations themselves for something comparable. )

And on getting MHPs the kind of access to seeing a cross-section of us who have NOT been preselected for criminality or mental health issues to base much of their understanding on.

It was the latter that paved the way for the Establishment to shrug off years of selection bias and reassess that Homosexuality was not a synonymous with mental illness nor criminality.

And indeed, as Joey noted, many of their members are better known here under GC nicks. Unfortunately their work would be compromised by naming names. But if the day ever comes, you would find every one who I can vouch for to be Pedo and proud.
