So, I'm jogging towards the building. I am very late.

I am a few steps from the building when the door opens suddenly. I catch the handle; a small figure darts in front of me.

Sharp intake of breath - I hadn't been expecting to see her.

"Hey," says a familiar voice.

"Hey," I reply, casually.

A few seconds pass, and I'm in the entryway now.

I can't help it; I stop, and look back.

I am met with that same agonizingly adorable smile, that one I can never, will never will get enough of; a pair of penetrating amber eyes stare into mine for a split second; the dark, wispy ringlets that fall to either side of her face flutter tantalizingly in the afternoon breeze.

I flash a smile; she giggles. We simultaneously turn and continue on in our respective directions, almost - but not quite - as if the whole thing never happened. (It happened.)

It's fucking crazy how much I love you, you know that?
