The source of the rumour of Michael Jackson's conversion to Islam is a thoroughly debunked story from the infamous tabloid The Sun.

The author of the story fabricated a conversion attended by other famous converts ( like Yusuf Islam. )

Another convert, Michael's brother Jermaine has suggested that Michael might've been considering conversion before he died. But hadn't converted at the time of death.

There is no reason for denial, and indeed every reason for fellow Muslims to trumpet the good news about such an event if it happened. But those close to him, who had no reason to lie, demonstrate that he didn't.

And others, who again have no reason to lie, have testified that they were not present as the story claims. The story couldn't even bother to get some basic facts about Islam correct that it was "eyewitness" to.

All this info is out there for anyone interested in critical analysis of fantastic claims.

There's further no evidence that he was a homophobe.

A pop-star with a tarnished reputation distancing himself from a pornographer is no surprise. You seem to suggest that he would've collaborated with Sasha Grey or Ron Jeremy but not with a gay pornographer. I see no reason to believe this claim.

And then Occam's Razor bids me to see that "pornography" is the necessary element; and "homosexual" the unnecessary introduction here.

I suggest you familiarize yourself with Occam's Razor. It will save you a lot of unnecessary detours into magical thinking and erroneous associations.

Further, this assumes that Jackson's views on human sexuality correspond to consensus reality. Wacko Jacko wasn't delusional; but he was so sheltered from normal everyday relationships that I believe its suggesting too much to claim that he could understand either homosexuality or homophobia.

Heck, its hard to even know if he was a Pedo.

So much of his attitudes towards boys seem tied to his reconstruction of his own lost childhood. Just as a stage-mother might fail to see her daughter as anything other than an extension of the mother's dreams; Michael may have failed to appreciate boys in their own right outside of his dreams about an alternative childhood for himself.
