I am a Christian. Despite the opinions of other Christians, I have found nothing within my study of my religion that denies pedophilia. The apostle Paul gave one age requirement for marriage (and therefore, sex), that the girl must have "passed the flower of her youth," which leaves a fairly large range of potential ages. This, in my opinion, was also influenced by the society in which Paul lived. A primary purpose for marriage, on the man's side, would be the production of an heir, which would require the girl to be at an age that she could produce children. However, I do not believe that Christianity itself would deny marriage at an earlier age (though sex outside of marriage is still a sin). Mary, the mother of Jesus, is believe to have been around the age of 13 (give or take a year or two) when she was arranged to wed to Joseph, and God Himself impregnated her.

I am happy in my religion, I truly and fully believe that it will lead me to heaven and is the only path to heaven. I may not agree with all of my brothers and sisters in Christ, but I do not follow them, I follow Christ who said "let the little children come to me, and do not turn them away, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Christ highly praised children and cared about them while his followers tried to deny them because they were children (sound familiar?). Many Christians are opposed to alcohol, yet Paul, whom no Christian should ever deny the favor of God, instructed Timothy to drink wine to stave off sickness. Jesus himself is well known to have drank wine (some Christians try to claim that the wine of that time was little more than grape juice, but man's propensity for strong drink is well documented throughout history).

Christians tend to get caught up in certain parts of God's word and miss others that provide a greater explanation or revocation (a common trait for many, if not all religions). They tend to devise their own gospels against what was divinely inspired. Sadly, this has, in part, lead to the state of society's views on youth sexuality today. Never the less, I would not turn from my beliefs because some of another religion promise a child bride for me.

When you take a religion, you are expected to take all of it, not just the aspects that you find agreeable. You cannot simply convert to Islam for a child bride, then ignore all that comes with the religion, much of which, I imagine, you will be less enamored with. And, as Dante pointed out, it is not all members of the religion that practice child marriage. The religion certainly would not be likely to exempt you from child sexuality laws in any western country (religious legal exemption focuses on the "danger" that the criminal acts involved in the religion pose to society). You could move to a part of the world where Muslims do practice child marriage, but I highly doubt that you would be content in those parts of the world, even if you did manage to take a child bride.

I would much rather live with the persecution that I face for my sexual desires, with my beliefs, and with my sense of spiritual security, than to cast it aside for a religion that I do not agree with, simply for the sake of getting to have sex with a little girl. Do you truly feel prepared for all that comes with Islam? Do you think that you are prepared to commit yourself to all that goes with the religion? If you do not, and I highly suspect that you are not prepared, then I would recommend that you not convert to Islam, or any religion, for that matter.
