Stonewall predates the Women's Rights movement; and far predates academic Feminism hijacking the other Feminisms and getting into bed with the Xtian Right in order to fight pronzography ( whose side-effect was to target US too. )

You may be right about homosexuals petitioning for recognition by the State rather than being ignored by State prosecutors after the decriminalization and depathologizing had already been gained. But in general you can expect a people to line up at the public trough almost as soon as they're no longer being lined up by the firing squad.

Hell, our activists too have argued for realpolitik concessions after we are gaining headway. But selling us out predates the rise of academic Feminism.

AND, the most influential Feminists happened to be of the Lesbian separatist variety. I could speculate about whether they're misandrists, or merely trying to dismantle what they see as "Patriarchy." But either way, their groundbreaking legal ideas appealed to the sex-negative Xtian Right because the Fundies also hate male sexual expression when its not channelled through the Church. And because many of them framed their anti-sex religiosity as a "defense" of victimized women. So despite being culturally at odds ( particularly over homosexuality ) they created the present hysteria to promote their political agenda.

"However there is one stipulation, no pedo should openly support gay rights and should in fact side with the religious right. They are just as bad, but they need reinforcing and the gays don't want us? So why should we care if they are persecuted with unfair practices. Support them until their mistake is realized and they are willing to sit back down with us. Silent suffering is not the answer so I'll continue to support fundamentalism until either one side excepts us or they weaken from decades of mutilating each other. This is politics and we should play by the gay lobbies own rules."

So you will support the very forces that openly created OUR persecution? I'm sorry. I cannot possibly condone support for the forces which back the anti-Pedo propagandists. The Nancy Graces and all the other haters who are backed by the far-Right Fundy-approved media? No.

If the Xtian-right are gonna push for post-sentence incarceration, for expansion of the SORs and for decreasing Youth Rights I am not going to support them out of some naive reading of history which sees Homosexuals as a principle architect of our persecution.

Its not the case,

The Homosexuals had the chance to stand with us. They betrayed us. But they were not the power which they betrayed us to. They threw us to a waiting non-homosexual enemy. A chimera that doesn't resemble most Feminists and most Lesbians but which was headed by Meese and other Fundie Rightists.

Homosexuals didn't take over the governments and replace Xtian Right legislators. It was those legislators who placed us dead-center in the cross-hairs. And its our persecutors that you stipulate we must support? No thanks.
