Well all I have to say about that is that you have a rather remarkable family and I can see why you wouldn't take them for granted. Quite honestly this is the first instance I have ever heard of a family being reasonable on the subject. I suppose I simply would say your in no position to take the political stance and you are quite blessed in that.

However for the rest of us at large we cannot even reasonably expect to see that level of acceptance within our lives. Me being from a culture where the powers in my lifetime ordered people to things to family members deemed socially unacceptable that I would likely get banned for describing on most civilized forums. To see the condemnation of my nature by former allies as a forfit of my life and the lives of those like me simply for the sake of their own comfort. Though I don't hate them I will not pretend their lobby deserves respect after taking such a stance. Some people just want the right to live as they are. We do not all hail from the lands of the free.
