Depends on what you mean by GL

"I have read that in hinduism Gls was accepted more than in Islam"

Our main problem here is that we are talking about several different things and muddying the waters by using the wrong words.

Girl Love as we speak of it in ourselves, and as we claim it ought to be; respects the choice of the girl, and also refers to the adult GirlLover who is attracted orientationally to the prepubescent ( regardless of whether they also have a Teleiophile orientation too. )

So this means that when we're talking about the girl as an object of social coercion; we aren't talking GL. And when we're talking about the role a Woman's girlhood might play in her ultimate role as adult wife ( in a society which values her girlhood because of what she will later be ) then we aren't talking GL.

If we could find a culture where Child-Marriage was an alternative for the exclusive GLer. And one in which the Child-Bride chooses the husband regardless of age ( and chooses marriage with other options available. ) Then maybe it might be different.

But we ought to be careful in discussing Child Marriage as it exists to not conflate it with GirlLove unless we want to imply that a GirlLover endorses it as it exists.

Looking at present India, it seems like a Hell for girls. Now most of this is possibly the fault of the Indian Press, which beats any other in paying no attention to living girls and focussing exclusively on dead girls when they're the victims of atrocity.

If I were to apply the same standards to the Western press, then my street ought to be vacant of girls as they're all either dead in car-crashes or dying in cancer wards.

I have no idea how India views a Pedophile's orientation or choices. But it doesn't seem to be big on choices for girls.

To further confuse issues, is their idiosyncratic choice to use the term "girl" for just about any unmarried late-20s woman. So common is their use of "girl" for "woman" that they have to use the specific "girl-child" to denote it when they're talking about a non-woman "girl."
