A Mall, though open to the public, does remain private ptoperty. Managers are therefore free to permit or ban photography at their discretion. The safest way is to ask at the security office. If security say no, the only other option is to appeal to the management.
There are arguments that could sway a reluctant management if you can claim that your pictures will be of historical interest. Even if you do get permission you can still be banned if suspected of taking inappropriate shots or are upsetting other customers. Stay safe and stay legal ! W. |
