Its been a while since I saw it.

Helmed by Larry Clark and written by Harmony Korine; its really a focus on some of the worst. It didn't seem unrealistic per se, just rather than choosing to shed its gaze on the aimless and reckless.

Though I could certainly see it pushing some of the same buttons that made me decide not to keep Hick and Hounddog. ( One need not be "southern" to be "Southern Gothic" that way. )

And yeah, any idjit who goes into Spring Breakers for Selena or Vanessa but whose never seen a Harmony Korine written film ( or one he directed, like Gummo ) should be aware that his interest lies in watching "trash" and in the "freak-show."
