The coming James Webb telescope will be powerful enough to do mass spectromety on the atmospheres of any planets near us. Since some compositions of atmospheres are very highly indicitive of life it will give us a good idea of whether life is there or not (at least life as we know it).

This planet is too far away to yeild such detailed information unfortunately. Though we will be able to tell what kind of general atmosphere it has.

I hope we are able to invent faster than light travel. Would be very good for humans that are increasingly living under a one world ideology/government to be able to settle many planets with many different systems of governments and ideologies so people can choose which one they want to live under, and so we can better realize which system is best.
