This reminds me of some of my schizophrenic satirical thought from seventies - Pardon, mercy - let me live! and Mercy! Let me die! But of course I had to read it very carefully, my Russian is elementary, thought I can almost always get the meaning.

As I said I was Italian in my previous life, and before that I was an Indian. We did not meet in Italy, though I later heard - from the great adepts - that you were born in Venice two hundred years after me and you married my favorite niece who was a beautiful Italian noblewoman and poison cooker then, from Borgia family. (You know, the important souls meet over and over again through the millennia.)

But we met in India, do you remember? I was a very rich maharaja there and I bought you as a slave boy. I was enlightened, as all the old souls, and I saw that you were enlightened too - these enlightened souls are already near the end of their sufferings. I soon spotted your intelligence and realized that some sins in your previous life had doomed you to the fate of a mere slave boy, but I realized that you are an old soul too, so I liberated you. You said, "Thank you, sir" in Malayalam language, and were gone.
