Lancaster's recent incredibly important book Sex Panic and the Punitive State. I kid you not when I opine that it's likely the most important book written regarding the modern sex panic since Judith Levine's Harmful to Minors. The main incident that caused him to write that book - which he describes in detail within its pages - should serve as a major wake-up call to everyone involved in any way in this hysteria.

And please note that not only is Lancaster an accredited MHP [Mental Health Professional, for the newbies], he is also a member of the gay community who has much to say about his experiences with BLers as a gay teen during the more permissive era of the 1970s.
