As those of you who have kept in touch via e-mail are aware, my latest hiatus was quite unexpected, and the result of a sudden pressing health issue, followed by heaps of missed work I had to catch up on. Last month I had to be rushed to the hospital when my gall bladder got severely inflamed and infected, and after some quickly performed surgery coupled with a few days of intense antibiotic treatments, I was home and on the mend. However, due to my work schedule being what it is, I couldn't take more than a full day to recuperate before returning to work upon my release from the hosp, and I had a lot of catching up to do while recovering.

I am now mostly caught up and have recuperated well, and as I'm sure all who knows me here is aware, I missed this place and all of you quite a bit. Thank you for the words of encouragement and well wishes I got from each of you who knew of my situation via e-mail.

I'm back to do some modding for this weekend, and I have some planned important posts and new essays coming up now that Newgon is on the verge of being revived, so stay tuned :-)
