i mean, abstaining from sex IS a pretty big sacrifice, and you would think people would respect us for it.

about antis, what does 'anti' mean? you have the hardcore antis, of course, who obsess about us, put up websites about us, or even commit hate crimes against us. but you also have people who hate pedos, and say 'anti' things as a result, but maybe only because they're poorly education about the issues or don't know anyone who's a pedo (or know that they know). if they found out they had a friend who was a pedo, maybe their attitude would change, so even though they had previously acted like antis, they no longer do.
