Your sweet little elementary school girl has been programmed perhaps for many lifetimes to be distrusting and that 'too much' physical affection is bad, especially with someone outside the family (if she is like any LG I have ever met).

So, if you keep on keeping on (business as usual), that cliff edge will loom closer and closer because eventually, she will see that love in your eyes, seek it like a light in the night, and submit.

You might be better off to just be happy with the affection that you do get.
