I think you are correct. I've also seen a couple who knew each other when they were both very little kids(the girl would have been right in the lower end of my AOA when they met). As they grew up, they started a relationship and made it all the way through school together and got married. Last I heard, they were in their 30s, still happily together. I know it is very possible for the young to have lasting relationships, but far too often, they don't last too long. I agree that it is expected, and so little is done to salvage the relationship as it crumbles in a storm. Perhaps an adult involved in a relationship with a child or teen would even be beneficial to the relationship, as he would probably put more effort into repairing the relationship. I just worry when it comes to my little girl. I don't want to lose her.
