Caught in the idea that the whole case sounds spurious to me, I forgot to mention that.
I remind again everyone of the case of the Florida clown, who was caught with what authorities described as disturbing pictures and pseudo-photographs (photoshops, for those who don't speak legalese) and text chats. The descriptions were, for once, rather extensive, and if they are accurate (which yes, is a big If) I would certainly agree they are disturbing. They involved kidnapping and rape. And yet, the guy had been working with children during 30 years, with plenty of opportunity to make real any of those fantasies - and never did. As far as coverage went, he was not accused of even one charge of real contact. In spite of his disturbing fantasies, his non-offending record after working with children for 30 years tells me much more about his character than if he wrote "omfg I'd so kidnap and raype her!" in what he believed to be a private pedo-to-pedo chat (which is how he was caught - by chatting with undercover cops.) If I ever wanted a case where kiddie pronz featuring real abuse (or photoshopped to look like real abuse; or talking about real abuse) never led anyone to a contact offense, it's that one.
And he pretty much puts to rest the "corrupts your mind" theory for KP which we no longer accept for books.
