I don't know what country you are in BK but similar is happening over here in UK since all these celebs have been arrested over allegations of underage sexual stuff, albeit many years ago. This seemed to kick off with the late Jimmy Savile saga.
The general feelings of many older people that I've heard discussing this is that it's not right to drag this up after all these years, saying things like " well, things were different back then "
Sadly, I don't think attitudes are easing towards us though, but we can live in hope I guess :(
