Apologies to KBA for overstepping my mission

For the record ... as an assistant on the writing staff of another site I was asked to read and possibly participate a little bit here at GC to encourage intelligent members to contribute literary pieces to that site, not argue with anyone. I guess my mission isn't progressing very well, is it?

I was reminded a little while ago that I was sent here as the Assistant Editor to encourage GC members to contribute literary pieces, acceptable fiction, poetry, artwork, or any other sort of electronic media for the possible inclusion to the Visions of Alice e-Zine.

By entering into arguments, debates, or even discussions outside of those boundaries I have overstepped my assignment.

For that I apologize to KBA, the GC staff, all its members, and anyone who may read this post.

Given the potentially antagonistic nature of some posters, and a few warnings I've received about the manner in which topics are often discussed at GC, I made the incorrect assumption I needed to stand up for myself and not allow any single individual to prove their dominance over me. It's obvious that was an incorrect and incomplete understanding.

I have nobody to blame except myself, and I take full responsibility for having offended anyone in any or all of my posts.

I will only add comments, questions, or viewpoints IF it is directly related to locating GC members who might be interested in writing articles, stories, non-fiction, poetry, or creating tasteful art for the VoA e-Zine.

Again ... with genuine humility ... I apologize, KBA. I can offer no other form of atonement for having overstepped my original assignment.
