That particular comment caught my attention more than anything else as well. "And of course, just the accusation will incline the jury to vote guilty" Yep. It is sad that people think this way or at least think other people think this way. I sometimes wonder if they long for the days when a black man could be hung for dating ("raping") a white woman and law enforcement looks the other way.

So it's at the end of the list? Where's all the hate when you see someone spank a child in public? You have to wonder what goes on in the privacy of home if they're willing to go that far in public. Or yelling at kids, more often than not for no other reason than they can. That's clearly emotional abuse. If what Anonymous Dave (heh...) says is true (I'd really love to see a reliable source for these stats) then I think people really need to stop overlooking HITTING a child's bottom rather than the lesser trauma of lovingly stroking it.
