Pretty much forever in your lifetime (and mine), yeah. Pretty much forever, unqualified, far from it.

Our ideas will never be taken seriously unless we already have some degree of acceptance, which is why I don't believe it is in our interest to work towards youth liberation.

Truth is irrelevant in this post 9/11 atmosphere; what matters is what people believe, and if they are convinced you're only out to rape their kids, no amount of logic or evidence will persuade them.

Given the situation we find ourselves in these days, I'd say that is about as good as can be expected. Anything further would probably make my situation worse, not better. If people find that selfish, so be it.

Actually, no, I find that too little selfish. Measuring your quality of life by how many girls you frequent is no less sad when it's a ped who does it as when a teleiophile does it.

Finding someone sexually alluring does not equate to wanting to have sex with them. The base sexual orientation does not equate to a desire to do anything; when I see a beautiful little girl I don't generally think, "Ooh, I wanna do her." It is almost an unconscious recognition of her sexual attractiveness and no thoughts of any particular activities accompany it, until I consciously think them.

Then that is not a sexual orientation. I easily recognize the sexual attractiveness of Megan Fox or Taylor Lautner but no, I don't wanna do them. When I see a beautiful girl, though, I certainly wanna do her. That doesn't mean it's the only feeling there, but the day that particular feeling is absent, I'll go to the doctor.
