I am one of the nay sayers I guess.
As long as we are unable to freely view and possess child erotic images that we desire to (even computer generated images, or cartoon images for heavens sake!) and are subject to imprisonment for "thought crimes" for things such as reading or writing erotic stories for our own personal pleasure in our own homes which involve sexual fantasies featuring adolescents and pre pubes. How can we even consider the eventuality of societal acceptance of real life actualized consentual sexual/romantic relationships between young teens, children and adults?

When whatever changes take place that would bring about the de criminalization of all forms of child erotica,only then would there be a hope in Hell for societal acceptance of lg lovers. IMO

Also I am of the opinion that comparing the gradual acceptance of homosexuals, various non white ethnic groups, women etc. to a gradual acceptance of the pedo sexual community is primarily a false analogy. There is first of all the issue of differences in societies perception of consent and cognitive development between a minor/child and an adult that must first be dealt with before one can expect any societal acceptance of lg adult intimacy.
